Provides two fenced areas plus one unfenced, the fences are about 1.5 metres tall. The first area is about 1500m2 and the second is probably +2000m2. The two areas are joined by a gate which can be opened. The entrances are double gated so you can see how any dogs react before going in. The double gate area also has a tap. All up a well designed area, congrats to Blacktown council.
The unfenced area (to the west) is much larger but there is only one old faded sign that designates the boundaries, so it’s hard to figure out where they are. If you use the unfenced area, be aware there is a mob of kangaroos that live down along the creek. These roos are are not afraid of dogs and WILL defend themselves, as I found out when my lab-cross tried to befriend one and ended up at the vets getting 20 stitches along her rib cage! My fault, I normally keep an eye out but she spotted the roo before I did and took off.
