This park is NOT totally fenced in and NOT suitable for dogs under 2yrs that LOVE to explore – I am so glad my daughter stopped me taking our pooch off the lead….fence broken leading to shipping container storage (OMG imagine losing him in there!!) Other areas of the fence are open leading to bushland – BIG THUMBS DOWN FROM ME!! :-(

The simple solution seems to be to train your dog

Gab, people generally seek the exercise areas marked as ‘fenced’ specifically due to this reason. They are already aware they have an untrained dog who does not come when called, but need somewhere they can be safe from becoming lost or injured.

Can’t recommend this park enough if you have a large breed (or high energy breed) that needs to get his or her daily excercise in a wide open fully fenced space, visited today for the first time and I wish I’d known about it sooner… RE “This park is NOT totally fenced in” it may have been repaired or adjusted since your visit, to my full inspection today (I walked the entire perimenter) well and truly fenced. I don’t take any chances with my athletic and sometimes ‘mind of his own’ Siberian Husky… bonus points for heaps of parking. Nice one, DLM.
