This park is one of the best I can find in Melbourne in that it is fenced and owners take care in closing gates when they come in to keep the dogs safe. I have to drive from Canterbury as there is nowhere over this side that I can find that is fenced in, though there possibily is. Box Hill has an area but the gates are broken. I have a large springer spaniel and he really needs a run, and socialisation with other dogs, and at this park, he has the best time ever…walking on leads is fine, but to see him run like the wind, is a sight to behold, and he is happier for it. He loves other dogs and is very friendly. All dog owners watch carefully for any bad behaviour but there never seems to be any as the dogs are so happy.

Fabulous off leash dog oval that’s completely fenced in, lots of really friendly fur kids and owners who are happy to stop for a chat. On weekends there’s always at least 2 dozen fur kids of various shapes & sizes just having a run & interacting with each other. We didn’t see any poop bags so definitely bring your own, it’s a really clean area as everyone picks up after themselves so no nasty surprises. Absolutely recommend, our 6 month old pup loves it!
