First dog park we visited and were nicely impressed with it. Lovely trees and it’s a bit of a circuit so you can walk the length of it, do a u-turn and come out the exit which is different than the entrance. Nice people and well maintained.
We have become kind of pooch park junkies now, this was our 3rd in 2 days.
There was ample room for the dogs to run. Dont quite understand why the fence divides, guessing it is a control thing in case some dogs are grumpy, but it could work the opposite we personally dont like it. The area is unfortunately quite dry but does have heaps of trees. The water for the dogs is not good at all. A couple of removable bowls at the end of the run & a water fountain with not much pressure behind it & there is a sheep type trough near the final exit which is full, but with dirty water with green algae growing around the insides of it – yuk.
Sorry we wont be back, but each to their own, but it was good to try. 01/01/09
Water fountans for dogs and their humans at each end and a fence in the middle with gate. Much improved!
We love this park! It’s close to our house, has lots of shade, and is great for socializing dogs as there never seems to be a day without a few pooches running around. Not a good place to go if it’s been raining, though. The mud gets thick and smelly.
