Beach St Reserve

Off lead from 8am to 6pm daily.

Great Lakes Council, together with Forster Tuncurry Lions Club and the Beach Street Volunteer Group, all worked together to build a Dog Agility Park at Beach Street Reserve, Tuncurry. Whilst dog agility is an actual sport, the park is for amateurs to provide mental simulation and activity for dogs. The park consists of weave posts for slalom manoeuvres, tunnels, ramps and jumps where dogs can test each discipline and eventually race against owner and the clock.

Dogs are permitted off-leash on the area of the beach south of the carpark opp. Ampat Pl between 5am-9am and 5pm-8pm.
Dogs are permitted on-leash on the northern part of the beach between 5am-9am and 5pm-8pm.

One Mile Beach

Off-leash area extends from Bennetts Head to Strand St. Dogs permitted off-leash between 5am-9am and 5pm-8pm only.

Dogs are permitted on-leash on the beach south of Strand St between 5am-9am and 5pm-8pm only.
