    Residents of the area did not seem to know it was designated off lead & i got alot of disaproving looks from on lead dog walkers (dispite clear sign postings!) It’s not great. the amount of sporting areas & children’s play areas means dogs need to be on lead most of the time anyway.
    Coolong is 100% better & a prefferable close by option.

    Dear Doggo readers;
    Due to new concern, we have placed a new fenced off area for dogs. This well sized area is split into two, a small area for smaller dogs and a large area for large dogs. We provide services for you to remove your dog’s accidents, and water for them to drink. This area is opposite Crestwood Public School, off Peel Rd. Because of this new area, we encourage dog owners to use this safer facility for dog socialising, as the rest of Crestwood Reserve will revert back to an on-leash area.
    Thank you

    Yep been back now & it is all new & nice.
    Haven’t got a clue why they bothered to create two seperate areas as the dogs that go to parks mingle fine, seems a waste of what could have been a bigger area for all.
    BUT due to the newness, it’s clean, well maintained, VERY sercure (no chance of any escapes) Still not as good as castle hill, but a closer & adequate playpark noe the less

    Jen: it’s actually not such a bad thing that the area is divided, there have been issues even through the fence, and in some cases the different sizes just don’t mix.

    racquel, go sometime in the late afternoon maybe? if you’re lucky, you can get a couple or several similar sized dogs
